Having travelled across a fair amount of Italy, I was really keen to see something totally different - much as I do love the rest of this beautiful boot shaped country! Seeing photos of the Maddalena Archipelago made me certain that visiting was on the top of my Italy bucket list and I couldn't have been more right - it was simply stunning there!

For a totally different side to Italy, I couldn't recommend Sardinia high enough and I personally am very much looking forward to going back and exploring more of the island.
