I've been lucky to spend a lot of time in America over my life so far. We started travelling there when I was only 4 years old and have been returning frequently since. In the last 10 years, I have been going back and forth from New York usually at least twice a year to take in all of the Broadway shows and develop further as a theatre maker. Some of my closest friends are in the US and I have lots of great family there too! So going back is a no brainer and something that I like to do as often as possible!

I also had the awesome opportunity to study abroad in Washington DC for a semester. Living in the nation's capital in 2015 was such an incredible experience - it was truly a great time to be there! I wanted to really get a feel for life in DC but also get to see as much of the country as possible so every second weekend I would venture somewhere new (or back to New York) and so I got to see a lot of new places around the country that year. Since then I have absolutely continued to try and go somewhere new whenever possible - sometimes it's because a musical I love is on in that city, others it's because I have a whole to do list before even hitting ground in that state! Whatever the reason, I love how diverse the US is and how much there is to explore.

And I love that, though I've been able to cover a fair amount of ground so far...there is so much more to see!!
